The 2026 Access Rules Families Need to Know
Three things changed this year, and older articles will tell you otherwise.
Vehicle reservations are gone. You no longer need one for Going-to-the-Sun Road, Many Glacier, Two Medicine or the North Fork. A standard entrance pass still applies.
Logan Pass now has a three-hour parking limit from 1 July. Hidden Lake Overlook fits inside that window. Longer hikes don't.
The one that catches families out is the shuttle. It no longer serves Trail of the Cedars or Avalanche Lake. You drive and park yourself at a small lot.
